“Morningstar Children’s Center” is an informal school in Bangladesh for impoverished, at-risk children who live in the local slum community. We work with children from age 4 to 12. They are given a basic primary education (Bangla, Math, and English) as well as art and music. In addition, they receive teaching in matters of health and nutrition, safety, conflict resolution, and Moral Values training. It is our goal that Morningstar is a place where each child can experience peace, joy, and love.
